What is Discover Scuba Diving all about?
Have you been wondering what it would feel like to breath underwater? We would like to take you on a fantastic underwater experience so you can discover what SCUBA diving is all about. For a Discover Scuba Diving session you will need no previous experience as we will guide you through all the necissary steps until you can feel the weightless bliss that divers are so excitedly talking about.
Together we will practice some basic underwater skills before we head out to the open water for an enjoyable SCUBA diving experience.
Feel free to bring your action camera so you can show your friends what a great time you are having.
What do I need to start?
You will need to be 10 years or older and in good health. When you come in we will provide you with a list of medical conditions that are relevant for diving which you can check for you own safety. If you would like a list of these conditions to review at home, let us know upon booking and we will email it to you.
How long will Discover Scuba Diving session take?
You can dive straight away! You will watch the short PADI Discover Scuba video, get fitted into your equipment. With your instructor you will participate in a detailed dive briefing and you’ll enter the water for your scuba adventure. Initially you will spend some time in shallow water practicing some exciting new skills, after this you and your instructor will enjoy a beautiful, relaxing underwater tour. Total duration of the session is 3hrs.
As soon as you Discover Scuba Diving, you’re on your way to an internationally recognized certification. That’s because you will learn skills used in the PADI Open Water Diver course during your Discover Scuba Diving adventure. In addition, the skills you will practice may be credited toward the PADI Scuba Diver or Open Water Diver certifications.
