PADI Rescue Diver Course teaches you to prevent and manage problems in the water, and become more confident in your skills as a diver, knowing that you can help others if needed. During the course you learn to become a better buddy by practicing problem solving skills until they become second nature. Plus, the course is just fun – it’s serious, but still allows for lots of laughter in between the focused learning.

What is the EFR Course about?
Emergency First Response training focuses on building confidence in lay rescuers and increasing their willingness to respond when faced with a medical emergency. Course participants learn to follow simple steps for emergency care and practice applying skills in a nonstressful learning environment. All courses are supported by self-study manuals, videos and quick reference cards to enhance learning and allow you start learning right away.
What is the PADI Rescue Diver Course about?

By becoming a Rescue diver, you will upgrade your diver status and gain confidence in your skills and experience through your diving adventures. The PADI Rescue Diver certification is a prerequisite for all Professional level PADI courses.
What do I need to start?
You will need to be 15 years or older and in good health. If you are 12-14 years old you man instead enrol in the Junior Rescue Diver Course.
You will need to be certified as a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver, or hold an equivalent certification.
We will provide you with a list of medical conditions that are relevant for diving which you can check for you own safety. If you would like a list of these conditions to review at home, let us know upon booking and we will email it to you.
How long will it take?
The total amount of training time between the PADI EFR & PADI Rescue Diver Course is 3-5 days. The progress depends on student performance.
