The underwater seascape around the Maltese islands is an extension to the impressive rock formations one can see around the coastline. The island has been pinned on the world dive map due to the abundance of wrecks that are found around our coast. Wrecks can be enjoyed within less than a minute travel time to shore or boat, in a fantastic range of depths from 18m up to 100m.
This way all enthusiastic divers may explore to their heart’s content at the level most comfortable to them. Between tug boats, planes, freighters and destroyers, anyone can dive what pleases them most. The caves and reefs that stretch along the Maltese Islands can be reached by boat, so every nook and cranny can be enjoyed.
Wrecks, caves, and reefs embellish our seabed and attract interesting sea life, making diving in Malta, an underwater experience to be remembered and a thrill to be repeated.
Divemed is run by a Maltese family, we have been diving around the waters of Malta, Gozo, and Comino since 1969 and have never stopped being amazed and inspired by the beautiful waters and all they have to offer. Our lives have been truly enriched with joy, laughter and the wonderful feeling of connecting with other divers and with nature.
